It is an expectation of the Cape and Torres Straits Regional Representative to:
- Submit a quarterly regional report to the Publicity Officer for inclusion on the Association website
- Co-ordinate and conduct a regional meeting of one per term for members and associates
- Access regional funding from the Treasurer
- Encourage regional members to submit to the Publicity Officer news articles for inclusion on the Association website and other relevant publications
- Co-ordinate the organization of a MAST day (safety day) for the region
