The Marine Teachers Association of Queensland has developed the following publications for its members.
Restricted coxswain (schools) members information kit
A new restriction to a coxswains licence for school employees was signed off on Friday 28th July 2006 between the Marine Teachers Association of Queensland and Marine Safety Queensland.
The scheme is designed as an entry level qualification for school employees wishing to implement Queensalnd Studies Authority approved or accredited syllabi.
In September 2006, a members information kit was developed to assist school employees obtain this licence.

May 2005 Coast and Marine Education Syllabus (NEW)
This outcomes based syllabus was developed for middle school students studies Level 4 - beyond Level 6 of the national curriculum standards. It has been accredited by the Queensland Studies Authority from 2006 - 2010

Curriculum exchange

This 44 page manual contains suggestions on how to run a marine safety day involving local schools, Marine Safety Queensland and local sponsors. It describes over 20 activities for the day.
Marine Olympics Dan Stewart's 1988 Marine Olympics Organisation
Members can download the program, score sheets and organisational details former Marine Studies Teacher Dan Stewart used to run the Marine Olympics in South Coast region. Also included in these documents are the letters he wrote to sponsors, parents and schools.
