The CoralWatch Ambassador program provides the opportunity to be part of a citizen science community that cares for corals and reef conservation. During the workshop 23-27 May 2018 at Heron Island Research Station, you will learn what’s happening to our reefs and how you can deliver positive messages to inspire audiences to act. You don't need to have any reef knowledge or experience or live close to the reef to help. As an Ambassador you can help collect and analyse data, but also share results with the wider public and educate others about the importance of reefs and how to save them. Download info.
Applications are open globally. Everyone can apply as long as you are a confidendent swimmer/snorkeler, available for full length of the workshop and available in volunteer capacity several times a year until June 2019. The workshop is FOC but participants do pay for their own travel to Gladstone in QLD and a one-off admin fee.
Applications close 18 March. Apply Now.
